Keep Art in School
I truly believe that Art is a very important part of learning. There are so many things people can learn through Art, Art can even build a childs self esteem. I teach Pre K currently and my students come up with some beautiful pictures by using their imagination. Art can even help children that are disabled to communicate, several of the Special needs children I've taught before can express themselves through Art and drawing better than in person face to face. I really think that Art is an important part of a childs life.

It is good to hear from someone who has experienced the benefits first hand. We can read all about it and agree, but sometimes seeing is believing! Thanks for your comment and good luck with those preK's.
