Our purpose is to help you believe in the Arts as an important function of education. Our goal is to show that the Arts are not an entity in themselves but have a major contribution in the value of education, not only in the classroom, but in the world around us. Our objective is to show the Arts are not just entertainment, but have a purpose in formal education and play a major role in society.

On a Personal Note:

One of my children was a very shy, sensitive child who found it hard to interact with others. Once we introduced her to the oboe and flute I watched in amazement how quickly this child blossomed into a confident, out going, social youth. I am completely convinced that the Arts belong in our school's curriculums for each and every child.
Music stimulates a part of the brain that increases thinking power. Other forms of Art like painting and drawing create hand eye coordination. Important tools for creating a foundation of learning for our children.
The Arts provide communication in a variety of forms. Adding color to our lives in the greatest senses.

It is so good to hear such positive results from musical involvement. Some children need the Arts as an outlet in which to express themselves as personally viewed by you and others who have posted comments on our blog. With support from parents and educators who have seen the proof and who support the Arts, how can we go wrong? Thank you and I wish your child all the success in the world!
